HERE'S WHAT'S HOT ON THE INTERNET
My observations tell me that the most popular websites in the world now are: Facebook (for social networking -- everyone in the office has a window open to Facebook while working; and school kids are also on it, updating their friends on the latest news and views of their young lives); Yahoo (to check e-mails or to check what's new on the news front -- and judging from the Internet Messaging volume -- both kids and adults are on it in equal proportions!) AND YouTube (everyone is increasingly opening numerous YouTube windows to play songs that they like -- and they can either take a break from the work and watch the music videos or, as if often the case, have the tune playing in the background while they work).
And there you have the most popular websites and their uses.
celebrity/entertainment/pop news, film reviews, humor, media reviews, media ratings, social/political commentaries, short stories, humour, satire, gardening, photography, avant garde, paintings, art review, men's fashion, reviews of movie trailers, thought leadership AND, LATELY, ADULT READING MATERIAL (if you are underaged, please leave this blog immediately!)

Yahoo!'s in CEO search -- HAVE THEY TRIED GOOGLING?

What? (No, What? is not a new online entity -- it is an honest-to-goodness question!) -- Yahoo! is looking for a new CEO? Hve they tried doing a Google search?

GMAIL

GMAIL sucks...
Has anoyone told the folks at Google that their Gmail format is lame? I find the the "tagging" or, rather, "layering" of new emails to corressponding senders a bit annoying. In terms of visual cues, it is hard to instantly check if there is a new e-mail from specific senders. Can't Google keep it simple like Yahoo does with a chronological listing of e-mails?

YOOHOO YAHOO!

YAHOO... e-mail...
I wish Yahoo would revert back too its old style of logging in to its e-mail services (you know, that simple second button on the top left!). The new design, where one has to play hide-and-seek with the e-mail button on the right side is annoying.
Having said that, let me exclaim my undivided love for Yahoo's e-mail service, which is the best in the world! It never lets you down and the format is the best that there is online! Bravo Yahoo!
