Hmmm, personally I'd rather tell people to plant trees, respect mother nature and be vigilant about emissions (emission of chemicals/effluent/garbage into our waterways or noxious substance into the air etc)... but people are mostly into token gestures. And so we have Earth Hour. The concept is good and the silver lining is that young people are made aware of the Earth's plight.
For that reason, I endorse Earth Hour. This goes out to my beloved sister Mabel Dass who works for Intel in Penang! She is the best sister one could ask for! :-)

ARE MALAYSIAN TOWN PLANNERS RETARDED?
What's with the perennial lack of car parking space in apartments and business areas in the city? And the poor environmental practices? Are the town planners just so full of hate towards trees that planting trees and greening places is an inconceivable thing for them? What is your opinion on this?
